Can Slugs be fired from a 410 non-rifled barrel
dumb question: I have a Bolt Action .410, by Stevens. Can slugs be fired from a 410, without a Rifled Barrel?

Use rifled slugs and and I wouldn't fire them out of a full choke. If it's improved cylinder or a modified choke you will be fine. Just out of curiosity why would you want to fire slugs from a .410? If you're thinking deer I would probably get a 20ga.

Sure you can fire them. But they really are pretty underpowered for much of anything beyond Coyotes inside 50 yards. Accuracy is generally pretty dismal too, at least in my guns. They are fun to shooot just the same.
