Why you should never go small...
The NYPD is one of the only departments in the nation that still uses the 9mm and this story is just but one of the many where officers are firing multiple times to stop. One of the participants was hit 21 times and survived.
Why do the NYPD officers feel they need to fire so many times? Why is a man hit 21 times and able to survive? This is an age old argument, but here is an incident that clearly demonstrates the need for higher calibers. Although the 9mm is comfortable and fun to fire, it is not a caliber in which can be relied upon. You should never go small...train and fight with the larger calibers and get used to the kick and blast. Its the only way to properly stop. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/b...HmS4BYzn6LlZGP |
