The pictures are so unbelievably clear... that I had a short moment of panic. At the website, I'm looking at the big .50AE sending bullets and the next image I see just for all the world looks like a lead semi-wadcutter. I'm about to pen a quick e-mail noting that sending cast lead bullets through a Desert Eagle is a recipe for a wrecked gun... when I think for a minute to take my focus off the bullets, and back to the handgun. (which is no longer the desert Eagle, of course)

Nice, I wasn't aware them though.

But let's start to play big - .500S&W Magnum big. This is just a failed shot and acts as a teaser what is about to come.

Thanks for the photos. Very interesting. And thanks as well for the choice of handgun. The Benelli MP90. I have an MP95 Atlanta and these nice handguns just don't get enough air time or review time.
But I will add that it may be the design of the Benelli that adds to the detritus of unburned powder leaving the barrel in that it's actually only 3" long. I've always wondered how such short a barrel can be part of a design that is so accurate, but it must be true that such a short barrel contributes to the likelihood of more unburned stuff than a Model 41 or some heavy-barreled Ruger.

Ya that wobble is pretty crazy. Makes you wonder a while lot more when you throw a can on the end.

here is small sample of CAA RONI conversion kit to make carbine out of your Glock (and other pistols as well).

It's a really nice handling set.

Couple more pictures of it:

Well, these are not handgun pictures but belong same "interesting stuff for gun nuts" category

So, firecrackers and high speed:

Why it failed?:

This is the only time I will give you a hard time about your photos.
The FAILED 500 is much better than the good one, just no bullet.
You must be having a lot of fun doing these, you can tell by the quality.
GREAT WORK.

Would you believe if I told you that these pictures are actually pain in the ass to take? So many things to fail

Here is a colorful firecracker explosion:

I also put a final firecracker set in misc page:

This is next dimension of Herra Kuulapaa High speed ballistics photography. Stereopairs also known as 3D:

This way you can really experience the complexity of the images!

Viewing instructions and bigger images:

Move your chair little bit further away if it feels hard or your eyes hurt. It's worth it though!
