Less Recoil !!!

Remington makes a Model 870 20 ga Syn 7 Rd Shotgun. I would like to acquire or build a model 1100 20 ga Syn 6 Rd Shotgun. It would seem to me that you could interchange some of the parts from the 870 into the 1100 and accomplish this. Attach the magazine feed tube from the 870 to the 1100 main frame and add the 870 20 ga Knoxx Stock. If this is true then all one needs to do is attach a new 20" barrel chambered in 3" mag, no rib, combat sights (possibly a top mounted rail system). Anyone got an opinion or do you know of a shop that can do this kind of work.
