Favorite 'smith

I don't post much - I'm more of a student than a teacher. But I just have to tell somebody.

Just got back my .50AE Blackhawk conversion from Gary Reeder (on budget and a month early !!!!).

All I can say is this man is elite ! Barrel fits perfect, 5 shot cylinder is machined VERY well - no tool marks and everything true and square. Cylinder ratchet and stop are TIGHT (I know they will loosen up to perfect with a little use). Nice blue job, and a free wheeling cylinder when the loading gate is open........ and to top it off - that half-inch hole in the barrel.

I am one happy camper. If anyone posts one of those "favorite gun" threads, you know what to put me down for.

I'll post back after I get some rounds downrange.----- if my wrist isn't broke !

Thanx for the report.
So often we hear the bad, so rarely we hear about the good guys.
