Henry Rifle Gunsmith needed
I have an 1860 Brass frame Henry in 44-40. It is an early Navy Arms before Uberti made them. It has a 21" barrel on it. I would like it to have a 24" Barrel like the originals. I have access to a used 44-40 Uberti barrel. The Uberti barrel has 16TPI threads where it fits in the receiver.
I would need an estimated cost for the following if possible: The Uberti barrel installed in a Navy Arms Henry receiver. The headspace checked and adjusted. |

I'm not the expert here, but Navy Arms is not a firearms manufacturer, and I don't know if anyone but Uberti made reproduction Henry's. Hawgy or Drifty can tell you for sure.

What Salvadore said. Navy is an importer not a manufacturer. The rifle was made by Uberti so it should fit unless they changed the threads over the years but it will still have to be head spaced.
