9mm Bullets

Anyone know where the cheapest place is to get FMJ plinking bullets for 9mm? Not cast bullets but std FMJ. I don't even know what a decent brand is to use for this that would be the cheapest

Thanks

Montana Gold bullets are quite good. Buying them by the case makes them reasonable too. The price posted is the price shipped to the lower 48 states as far as I know. You do have to sign for them and for me that means having to make a trip to the Post Office to get them. There might others but not ones I have purchased in recent years.

Am I reading that correctly...$140 for 1k? Yikes. My LGS has 500 FMJ for $50.

Zero Bullets do just fine too.

In multiple thousands your looking at plated bullet prices.

Speaking of which, for plinking, you can get plated pretty cheap.

JK bullets are cheap. They are cast but will still perform. Why are you against cast?

$50. for 500 isn't bad. A $340. case from Montana gets you 4K of 115gr, 3,750 of 124. That's a $60. saving. More if you pay tax.

Precision Delta is where I'd go. I love their 124 grain FMJ bullets and they are $85 per 1000. If you buy 2000, they ship for free. If you buy 1000 or any odd number, I think they charge $5 shipping.

They are the cheapest I've found for quality bullets. The 115 grain ones are slightly cheaper I believe.

PD is as good a place as any for jacketed, and better than most. I budget 8-9 cents a bullet for 9mm bullets regardless of type. The 124-125gr bullets I shoot, hardcast rn (reloadsnmore), plated hbfp (berrys via powdervalley) and jacketed fmj (PD) all fall into that range and I am very happy with all of them.

I would certainly go with Precision Delta also. I have not found any place that charges less for jacketed bullets, I recently bought 1000 of their 9mm 124 gr JHP bullets and I am impressed with their quality. They are much more accurate in my Hi-Point carbine than factory Federal 115 gr FMJ from Walmart.

Here is a link to them:

These bullets shoot great in my guns and they have fast, free shipping. I will be ordering from them again. If you e-mail them for data they get back to you quickly also.

It appears I can reload 9mm for about half the price of the cheapest 9mm regular FMJ I have found. Definately good links and prices to get bullets

Hope to start reloading this soon

If not half, then at least 60-65%. I pay $6.75-$7.50 for fmj depending on bullet price and up to a buck less for lead depending on the source. I figure 13 to 15 cents a round for 9mm.
