.22 Short Aguila prices?

Just curious if I got robbed at my LGS... Aguila box of 50, .22 Short Ultra, $9.99???? My jaw dropped, but I paid. I can't find them at Walmart, so I'm curious what you guys pay, brick and mortar prices, for Aguila .22 shorts?

Yeh, that price is very high. My recommendation is to shop online for your ammo supply. Use AmmoSeek and save yourself money.

High prices make me walk.
When a retailer wants $9.99 for Aguila .22 Shorts, I turn to CCI at $4.99.
If they're higher than that...

I walk.

I've been shooting at the range I go to for 15 years. I have never seen .22 shorts in their ammo stock.

Can be hard to find.

22 shorts can be hard to find. I picked up a couple hundred rounds a few years back when the local hardware store happened to have some. Knew that the grandkids would be learning to shoot and that's a good place to start. But seeing them on the shelf is rare. $9.99 for 50 is seriously expensive. At 20 cents a shot you can get cheap 9mm. But if you need/want 22 shorts then . . .

Life is good.
