Does Anyone know what rifle this is?
Hello All,
IraqVeteran8888 just posted a video on his channel yesterday Gun Gripes #162: "Restore, Conserve or Bubbarize?": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9DeMpnrPI8&t=317s A couple minutes in they start handling this rifle made in 1857 with a weird lever that opens the breech. They never say what this rifle is, and in a bunch of his videos the rifle is always on the wall, and I've always wondered what it is. Does anyone know what this rifle is??? I think I attached a screen shot of it, but not sure if it went through. Cheers! |

Definitely not a hall. I checked in Phil Sharpe's The Rifle in America. Nothing in the time frame period of that rifle shown. I'm thinking it is probably European in origin.
