Boring indeed and I agree that they're each interesting in their own way. In addition to all the cartridges you listed, I also have a .44 Magnum-kind of surprised you don't, given your recent interest in a 10 mm. Also, because you have a .357 Magnum, you can add the .38 Special to your parade of different ammo choices in your inventory.

I have 1911s in various calibers starting with "4." I'm building one in 9mm now.

The sole reason is ammunition: I can buy "white box" or import steel or aluminum case 9mm for dirt cheap, and I don't have to hunt for brass after a session. Paper targets don't care, and I can get more shooting out of my ammo budget.
