Heinie 8 sights
I just bought a Taurus 24/7 Pro C with Heinie sights. This is my first experience with this type of sight. I am not getting the accuracy I want. I am shooting at about 8 meters. Can someone with experience with this type of sight give me some pointers and tell me what my sight picture should look like? Thanks for any help.

I've used the Heinie sights before and you line them up just like any other sights. Center the front sight in the notch of the rear blade, and top of the front sight should be level with the top of the rear sight.

The Heinie Straight 8 sights should make a fiqure 8 with the front sight on top and centered in the cutout of the rear sight. If this does not work have one or two others fire it and see if they shoot the same. They may need to be difted/adjusted for horizontal point of impact if you groups are left or right not sure about if low or high.

May be the Taurus. When I worked retail we had bunches of issues with POA/POI being off.

Taurus Heinie sights are made to shoot dead on, not a six o'clock hold. Make sure the front dot covers the point of aim rather than sitting below it.
