.410 shot shell
Has anyone reloaded the little .410 using .444 Marlin brass?
I've found 1/2oz of #9 shot over 8.0gr of Herco with a cork shot over-card and an index card type final wad sealed with wax works quite nicely. Why would I go to this trouble, because reloaders are always "playing".

playing
The quoted load is an acceptable loading using 444 brass in a 410. This was not a capricious hand load.

Never done so.
I see you are in the peoples republic of NJ I would think .410 brass shells are more available then .444 Marlin |

444
You're most likely correct about the availability of 410 brass. I was merely "playing" as I have several hundred 444 empties and thought I would utilize what was on hand.
