CX-4 Storm : Need scope
I need help to select a scope.
I'm considering a red-dot type but am LOST with so many brands, models and alternatives. I'll be using it for range shooting (indoors, outdoors). In thinking about a red-dot, I like the idea of it being a 2x as one of those brands offers it. Thanks for your input. |

Check out an Aimpoint, they offer a model with 2x magnification and I've heard many complement their products. The army uses them as well.

Key is the use of the product.
Serious equipment is expensive because you beat the crap out of it and it can still work. (Military?) Personal use like you describe is much less expensive equipment.

I could not decide what to put on mine, then I found a BSA 30mm for $29 brand new. Figured I'd put it on till I got another, but I think I may leave it on. Looks good, and so far its holdin up. If it dont last, I would like to get an EO-Tech.

Unfortunately, I did not have good luck with my $35 BSA red dot optic and it frittered out during firing. Basically, the recoil was sharp enough to cause problems with the connections in the electronics.
