Faulty Clips???

I have Taurus 99 with additional Ram-Line clips. When I last went to the range, each time I shot a round, the gun's slide would stay open as if the clip was empty. Gun works fine with factory clip, and I'm baffled as to why these clips wouldn't work just as well. Any one have simular situation? Thanks for any insight.

A Taurus PT99 uses magazines, not clips, so that may be your problem.

Seriously though, it sounds like a weak mag spring in the Ram-line mags.

Fire a few rounds making very sure you are not pushing up on the slide release at all with your hands. If not, try a different magazine. It's either you or the magazine.
