Gun is back !!

The TCP was finally returned yesterday and...
We sent it back with two mags and it was returned with one.
We were very clear in our letter to Taurus that was packed with the gun about the constant repeatable jam on last round only and their paperwork says they inspected the feed ramp and adjusted the extractor.
So, we'll be calling them to let them know they screwed us out of one mag and I'm not optimistic the problem has been fixed. Range report in a couple days.

"Inspected feed ramp" = saw it when he racked the slide
"Adjusted extractor" = poked it with his fingertip

It's too bad that they have to blow like that. I think that's one of the best looking 380s out there.

I came very close to buying one of those last year.

I hope they set things straight for you.

8 week turnaround on a warranty repair ? This only tells me Taurus has a lot of broken handguns to repair. I hate to insult by using the term "cheap" but buy cheap guns, get cheap guns, sorry there's no way to sugar coat the facts. I was contemplating the Taurus 1911 in 9mm and upon a close inspection it looked and felt sub par on quality. I ended up buying the Springfield Range Officer in 9mm and a flawless looking and feeling handgun for about $200 extra in cost. Worth every penny.

No. It's because they're dealing with a large recall.

Kymasabe, Well does the old Taurus work to your satisfaction? Did they acknowledge the magazine and ship another?
