Newer 686 grips
Who has one of the newer S&W 686 w/the plastic finger grips ...? I prefer the rubber grips even though I like the finger grips , but my hands are very big, and I would want the largest grips possible in a tacky rubber grip.... Anyone got advice for me? Pachmyr(?) Hogue(?)...

Large and "tacky" it would be the Hogue. Make sure you order a rubber one. They also make them in hard nylon.

Thanks...(!!)
Read about so many who end up buying 3 or 4 different brands trying to get it right... |

Pachmayer grip will be larger than the Houge. The backstrap of the pistol is covered with the Pachmayer and is not covered by the Houge. The Pachmayer is a bit more comfortable during firing because of this.

If you haven't bought the gun yet, wait to get grips until you give them a try. They may not win beauty contests, but I really like them on my 686+
