need a load for 122gr ltc 9mm

I am using unique and wanting to load 9mm LTC 122 gr. bullets but the alliant book don't list LTC or lead truncated bullets as a load out. Was wondering if anybody out there used these components together and what is a good starting point and OAL.

well I tried 4.5 grains of unique and didn't blow myself up no pressure signs on the case and seemed to give a consistent accuracy but seemed a bit light so bumped it up slowly to give a total of 5 grains. good power no pressure signs no other problems with gun and consistent accuracy.

Referencing my Lyman #49 manual, I would consider 5 gr Unique the top load. Now look for accuracy with various loads between the 4.5 and 5 gr level.

I agree with the 5.0 as max.
Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook:
124 gr Cast - Unique: 4.4 to 4.9 gr @ 30,700 c.u.p.
also
125 gr cast - Unique: 4.5 to 5.0 @ 30,300 c.u.p.

As always:
Approach Max Loads with caution and common sense. While this is published data, I make no claims to it's accuracy.
