Pistol Scope . . .

So I have a Super Blackhawk in 44 mag. I had a BSA Edge mounted on it, but after some really hot loads I've shaken it to death. Warranty is passed so I took it a part and can see nothing wrong. It's a $60 scope so can't expect too much. Anyway, I'll do some research, but thought I'd ask here . . . what pistol scope takes a beating and stays in focus. Let's say I have $200 to spend.

Life is good.

Leupold is what I’m saving for. Any that I know with handgun scopes on 357 or bigger have them.

For my handguns I like Burris as they're in the neighborhood & make a solid product at a good value & come with a lifetime warranty.

I have a Bushnell 2X32 on a Ruger Super Redhawk 44 Mag. It is not fancy but works. Probably installed it in 1994.

Last week I picked up a Leupold M8 EER 4X off GB for $170 shipped for my Contender 7-30 Waters. They and the 2X are generally available on GB and Fleabay. Bullet proof and a life time warranty.

I have two bushnell elite 3200 pistol scopes ( 2-6 x 32), 2 Burris, ( 2-7 x 32) and 6 leupolds ( two fixed power and 4 variables).

If I had to do it all over again I'd get all Leupolds. The slight edge in clarity is worth it to me, and the warranty is reassuring if there ever is a problem.
