I have an AR "kit" gun I bought a couple of weeks ago from a local dealer. Bushmaster lower, Wilson combat barrel, A1 upper of unknown origin. I paid $550.00 for the unit, and was a little worried that it would even work.
Well, all is well. I went out strictly for some function testing. I fired 40 rounds of brass cased American Eagle .223. I wasn't shooting for groups at this time, but the rifle is shooting to point of aim. The rifle hiccuped on Wolf ammo, but I am not too concerned as members of other boards say Wolf(amd other steel case)is hit or miss in an AR. I took out a few .22s for trigger time as well. All in all, I am very pleased about my recent purchase. Can't wait to show it off at the April shoot. Z |
