no [BROWSE] for attachments
I get the following.....
To attach a file to a new post, simply click the [Browse] button at the bottom of the post composition page, and locate the file that you want to attach from your local hard drive. Problem is that I only have a text message in the additions box below my text entry. No actual browse button. Lowqer left says I've got IMG but no HTML. Is that the issue? If so, how do I get HTML? THanks, |

Assuming you haven't change any of the defaults on the Reply to Thread page:
Hit the "Manage Attachments" button in the Additional Options section. You'll find the browse buttons there. This changed with version 3 of vBulletin. If the above doesn't work, it might be a popup issue. If you are using a popup manager, turn it off for TFL. |

Hawkin,
What operating system and browser are you using? It is probably an issue with your settings. -Dave

Out of curiosity, click on the space just below the word 'extensions' in that block and see what happens. Maybe the button graphic is missing, but the button properties are present.
Do you see the other control elements in the Additional Options window? There should be 4 check boxes and 2 selection controls in addition to the missing Attachments button. At the bottom are repeats of the Submit Reply and Preview Post buttons. |

I bet you have javascript turned off. The "manage attachments" button is created with javascript.

There is a size limit to the files that you can upload. For example, the largest .pdf you can upload is 390.6K.
Try a smaller file or if the file is available elsewhere online, provide a link. -Dave |
