Thanks for the idea! I was thinking to set up three of them in a row, but maybe 2 laying sideways would be cool. Thanks for the feed back!

You should really do it with reinforced concrete.
With that test you cant tell whether the bullet penetrated the whole thing or if the impact just shattered the whole concrete block.

If you were to hit that concrete block with a sledge hammer it would probably have the same result, but if it were reinforced with steel mesh it would likely crack the concrete but it would still hold together.

That's what comment I'll add seeings how I've worked a fair bit with concrete and know how it reacts under stress.
