Screws for Winchester 94 receiver?

I recently purchased a 1981 Winchester 94 in 30-30 caliber. It had a side-mount scope on it which I removed. I now need two screw plugs for the factory tapped holes (one was used for the longer scope mount rear screw and the other was missing). Could anyone either tell me the specs on these screws and/or let me know where to purchase them?

Thanks, - Tom

Try Numrich. See if number 26 in this part list is what you are looking for.

If they the two small d/T'd holes, about 1/2" apart, in the rear upper left receiver wall, they should be the receiver/peep sight prep holes, normally plugged with short 6-48 plug screws.

Most gunsmiths worthy of the name should have a drawerful of them - take-offs from rifles they mounted scopes on for their customers, and available to you for next to nothing.

If you need what looks to be a large screw, further forward on the same side of the receiver, it's the "link pin stop screw" - available at www.wisnersinc.com

.

For a neater look and screws that won't screw in too far under recoil vibration, buy some dome head stop screws from Brownell's.

OK, one more question. I do (also) need a finger lever pin stop screw (the one that held the scope is too long). The Wisner's site that was posted has them listed for pre-64s, but not post-64s. My question is: are the screws the same for the pre-64s and the post-64s?
