Sig 400AR?

The LGS has a used sig 400 in the rack for just a tad over $800. I'm hearing it's siren call.

Talk to me.

Well made, kind of nicely put together, but still an AR-15, nothing special. For $800, I would say go for it.

I would check out the various AR forums and other gun forums classifieds sections for good deals

I had a Sig M400, is one of the only AR's I regret selling. Nice lower receiver with built in QD mounts, ambidextrous controls were nice, good fit, finish, and build quality. Kyle Lamb at Viking Tactics recommends Sig's to his students. Mine was in very good condition and cost $600 as used gun. $800 seems high to me but...I just checked Gunbroker and seems like prices on the Sig are higher than I remember so...maybe $800 is right.

$800 seems really high to me, too. I would probably look around before pulling the trigger.

This. I've seen new M400s for under $800 before.

Finding out more . . .

This Sig AR is the elite model, which looks like retail is in the $1200 range. Hmmmmm . . . .

Life is good.
