The Luth-AR 16″ Lightweight Complete Upper Barrel Assembly

I'm picking up one of these later today that I found a deal on but I can't really find much in the way of reviews.

Does anyone here know anything about them?

Perhaps this is a new product for them, which is probably why you're not finding much on reviews yet. I know the name Luth from their buttstocks, which aren't bad at all. But never seen this before.
The cut out patterns of bullets add a unique look compared to your average k-mod/m-lok handguards. I'm assuming the bottom has keymod? Everything about this just screams run of the mill AR; nothing special about it (excluding the bullet pattern already mentioned). But for $400 or less, I'd say that's a fair price for sure.
Be sure to post a review on it when you shoot it! Start getting those data points out there for other consumers.

I'm getting this one NIB for $250 so I'm not too worried about it but I just found it odd that I couldn't find any reviews.

Oh wow, for $250? I'd jump on that deal any day. It'll go bang when you pull the trigger, that much I'm sure. Even if the accuracy is 3-4 MOA, that's fine by me for that price.

Yes, I thought that it seemed a bit unusual that someone with all the experience that Randy Luth has would choose to offer this upper in 1:9 twist only.

I was told by someone who has met Luth several times that he uses Green Mountain barrels in his builds, if that means anything.

I was wondering about that. I didn't think there was any way they made their own barrels and sold it for that price. I feel like they got the 1/9 twist for cheap from Green Mountain since all the rage is 1/7 twist for 5.56/.223 barrels these days. I have a Green Mountain bull barrel on my 10/22 and I'm a big fan of it so far. Very accurate.

Green mountain produces blanks as well as their own barrels; they have a pretty good reputation despite their seemingly low prices. I think I may have one or two on barrels that were chambered by a different manufacturer and they shoot fine.
