scott 1000

Has anybody ever heard of Scott 1000 pistol/ shotgun powder? My lyman reloading manual has nothing on it! Its the 47th edition, sooo about 1992?!?! Kinda old, might have to get something newer.
Anyhow, back to the powder, I want to reload my .38 and .357, but I cant find info on the Scotts!

Google isn't even bringing anything up? Are you sure you didn't get your bathroom tissues mixed up with your pistol powder?

Scot was acquired by Accurate several year ago. What was Scot
1000 is now Solo 1000. Maybe. Check old data against new, start
low and work up---Solo 1000 has a reputation for significant lot to lot
variations.

I have not tried it in 38/357. It's fast. Bullseye and Clays fast. Might be a good plinker powder, but you probably want something slower
for serious magnum loads

I use it in 45 ACP with a 230 gr bullet. 4.2 makes major, and It's almost
like cheating. VERY soft shooting.

I've played with it in 9mm with a 147 polycoat bullet. Mid 3's for charge,
but I haven't done more than develop a load--against the day when I run out
of VV N320.
