Rings for Scope On AR15

Wow, a myriad of choices in rings out there! I went with the Leupold Mark AR Mod 1 1.5 - 4 x 20mm for my Aero .223 Wylde build. It has the illuminated reticle with hash marks on the vertical. ..will add Offsets. Any ideas on rings? I plan to lap them. I'm thinking high mounts but haven't really studied the pros & cons yet. ..don't figure I'll need anything fancy such as QR since this is not for SD. It'll be for target shooting fun @ the range & that's about it.
