african / alaskan safari on the cheap... fun practice...
so lately I've been accumulating a bunch of realistic molded plastic toys, with the intention of having some friends over for a "safari" my game runs from Elephants, Rhinos, Water Buffalo, Kudu, etc. to American Bison, grizzly / brown bear, etc... I've made up a bunch of little steel platforms using 4" X 4" X 1/8" plate & rebar for stakes to step into the ground, a chunk of double faced tape, or a backwards loop of duct tape aught to hold the animal on the platform unless a solid hit is made...
I haven't decided if 22's should be the weapon, or if we should try using high powers at the level needed to actually take the animal in real life ( I'm sure a 416 Rigby would blow all to heck, a 2" X 4" plastic water buffalo, so 22's might be the weapon of choice... all my animals look real, looking through a scope aught to be fun to put the cross hairs on the front shoulder of a water buffalo... anyone ever do anything similar ??? thinking 22's shooting 25-75 yards could use small caliber high powers at 75 - 150 yards... what do ya'll think ??? imagine dialing up the magnification on your scope & putting the crosshairs on this bad boy

You could always glue it to the top of an RC car and pretend he's charging you.
