Oh, and as for people recommending a neutered AR-15. I mean yeah, I can see the appeal of having an AR-15 in general. But when you remove all the features that make an AR-15 great to begin with, it's really a toss-up. As far as I'm concerned, having to use a bullet button totally eliminates it. But again, that's just me.

Am i correct in finding the M-1 Carbine and M-1 Garand will remain legal to possess in California?

Yep.

I posted the statute on the previous page.

The M1 don't have any features that qualify it as an AW under CA laws.
