Bronwing BPS safety
Hello guys, I'm about to have my license to buy my first firearm, and was interested in the browning BPS. It will sound noob, but I was asking myself, since it is a bottom ejecting shotgun, how do you look for a shell in the chamber when you secure the weapon??
Thanks for your time, and sorry for my english. |

No such thing as a stupid safety question about firearms. Welcome!
With the slide back, the chamber is visible from the bottom. You can get a finger in there as well for a low-light/tactile check.

Rolling the BPS over ...and looking in chamber and mag tube...becomes 2nd nature after you've done it for awhile.
I think its easier to check the BPS than most other side loading/ejecting shotguns. ( but I've been shooting the BPS for a long time...)... |
