Long lasting lubrication and corrosion protection

Hi guys,
What is your favorite long lasting lubrication and corrosion protection for bores?? Mainly for never fired in display BP revolvers.

Never had one of those. They all get fired. Bore Butter seems to work ok but I dunno how it would be on a permanent basis.

I use RemOil for any of mine, fired and unfired. The unfired ones get a good heavy re-oiling with it at least every 4 months. I don't know how long you could actually go without reapplying. I guess it would depend on where you kept them. (humidity and temp variances)

Never ever to be fired? Use Renaissance Wax. PH neutral, it is used by museum conservators worldwide.

Rigs Gun Grease, but the gun will be a lot happier if you shot it, clean it then use Rigs.

Eezox is well known for being one of the best rust protectants.
Applying a thin film of it will prevent rust like no petroleum oil can.
It's also compatible with black powder, and at less than $7 per container it's relatively inexpensive.
Guns may need to be wiped down with it once a year.

If you don't clean it out of the bore and chambers before you shoot it you're making the cleaning job afterwards harder.

Birchwood Casey's Barricade.

BP compatible, easy to apply, works for long term storage.

Although if the intent really is just long term display, 4v50Gary's mention of Renaissance Wax is the best answer.
