I have a 12 ga 870 that I had fixed up by Tanks rifle shop. It is a great tool complete with all the bells and whistles. I got my wife a used 20 ga 870 that she wants fixed up in a similar fashion. The only problem is that no one sells after market "tactical" accessories for the 20 ga. Now here is the confusing part: Externally her receiver is the same size as mine, my extended magazine fits perfectly, my laser products fore end fits fine, and every thing seems to work. I'm a little leery of shooting it though because all the catalogs specify that the parts are for 12 ga only. Can any one tell me if the parts will work OK on a 20.

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work. The larger diameter mag tube could possibly cause some feeding probems but not necessarily. You might try cycling some duds through the action first. George

Thanks George,
I forgot to mention that I already ran snap caps through it and had no problems.
