Some years ago I was sighting in a Marlin 30-30 on a 200 yd range, the fellow next to me had bolt action that I had never seen before. I had earplugs and muffs so it took quite a level of noise to disturb me.He carefully sighted in and fired.I don't know what the Olympic world record for the high jump is, but I am sure I set a new record...Later I got to speak with him and found he was preparing for a safari in Africa, don't remember what kind of rifle but I will never forget the caliber 375 H&H

I have the Winchester. Love it. If I were to do it again, though, I'd buy the Ruger #1 Tropical just because it is such a beautiful gun.
