220 gr plated 10mm starting load

I got a great deal on several thousand 220 grain 10mm/.40 plated round nose bullets. Only trouble is, there is no published load data that I can find for it.

I load a lot of 200 grain 10mm loads with my mild loads around 1,150 fps from a 5" barrel and my wild loads around 1,275 from a 5" barrel (this is a very hot load and only used in new brass with fully supported chamber).

I use hodgdon longshot for the hot loads and HS-6 for my milder loads.

Again, however, I find no published data for the 220. My initial thought is to take the 200 grain longshot starting load, reduce by 10%, and do a full workup in new brass. I might also try AA#9 for this since it is a bit slower than long shot (and do the same -10% from the 200 gr starting load and workup).

I will also be shooting these in my cmmg 10mm 8" banshee AR. Any experience with this weight of bullet would help.

Thanks

Tons of 10mm data here. Listings for 215 and 220 gn bullets.

Great link. Now I have more information for the different bullet weights that are not in my reloading books.
