11mm or 3/8” Scope Grooves
Are 11mm and 3/8” scope ring grooves the same? Put another way, can I install rings labeled 11mm on 3/8” grooves or vice-versa? I googled it but it started talking about grooves being cut at different angles so I decided to just ask in here so I can get firsthand knowledge. Thanks...

Nope. 11mm is 7/16". 3/8" is 9.5mm. Mind you, the difference isn't much so they might fit.

Warne makes rings that can go either way simply by changing the orientation of the blocks on the bottom of the ring base. There is a difference in size and this comes up with European rifles more than here in the U.S. Example: Anschutz and CZ are 11mm. Warne p.n. is 721 and they come in different heights.
