I have a quite old, but in great shape, Remmington Model 11-48, 16 ga. autoloader. It works by a spring action. Having just aquired it, I cleaned and lubed it. First shell loads and fires, next shell loads and fires, third shell loads but does not fire. I have tried this repeatedly with the same results. Any ideas before I take this to a gunsmith?

Any more information?
Does the hammer fall when the trigger is pulled on the third shell? Does the bolt close all the way?
