Beretta 1200

Came across one at a local shop and know nothing about it. Google-fu didn't turn much up either (mostly seeing info on the 1201).
Short barrel (18-20" I believe). Rifle sights. I'm assuming an inertia gun.
Are they a pre-decendant of the M2? Any thoughts on current value or parts compatibility?

Any intel is appreciated.
Thanks!

I have a 1201FP w/the Choate stock from the factory. I believe the 1200 is just the previous model and pretty much the same gun.

There is some info here that might help you.

You're welcome. My 1201FP was bought new in 1994 for around $650.00 the best I can remember. It has been flawless and is still my HD shotgun. Mine is all stock.
