BTW, S&W stopped using the star designation for factory refinish/rework back in the 50's/early 60's. Jim |

I have a S&W Regulation Police chambered in 38S&W but it only has a 3 digit S/N, 7XX. Doesnt have the wood grips, but stag grips in their place. Mostly just wondering its age. Any help would be appreciated... Thanks in advance...

Hi all,
I have recently inherited a couple of my fathers guns and would really appreciate knowing the date of manufacture. The first one is a model 25-2 (.45 acp) serial N758xxx and the second is a 19-3 serial K893xxx. Thanks in advance for any help. |
