Tritium front sight for S&W 986 performance center.

Got myself a 2,5" Performance center 986. Excellent revolver.
How ever I would like to upgrade it's sights. Problem is that the front sight is fixed with dovetail.

Does anyone know what Tritium sight that would fit?

If you reach out to xs and have calipers they might be able to walk you through a few options.

I added a Trijicon front sight to my SP101. When it's dark I can see the front sight just fine but not the rear sight. That got me to thinking... what's the point of having glow in the dark sights if you can't see your target? I like the design and shape of the Trijicon front sight compared to the original, but it isn't very bright in the daylight when "I CAN" see my target. So I put a dab of lure paint on it and it is now a useful sight. I wrote it off as a "lesson learned".

Thank you, Dan. I will look into that possibility.

XS currently does not offer a sight solution for S&W revolvers with a factory front dovetail cut.

I have not contacted xs. But I found the above text on their website.
