RCBS 223 die?

I was going to get the RCBS x full length die to load 223. I'm loadin for a precision AR

They have the short base and the other is not. I'm kind of starting out on loading for 223 and wanted to get some input on which one to get, the short base or the one that isn't. What's the difference in them? I assume is has something to do with how it sizes the case. Thanks for any help

SB is small base, undersizes the brass, of the three ARs I load for one requires a tighter sizing then the others. Most get by with a FL sizing die. The disadvantage of the SB die is shorter case life by overworking the brass.
