I Need Help Getting A Value On this Gun

Need help to find out more about this gun it only has a name on top the barrel the calibur and a number "K Jager, Mainz .30-06 6007"

without pictures, between $200 and $3000. Kurt Jaeger is a well known German gunsmith from the second half of the 1900, but you really need to show a picture to get even a cursory estimate.

Very interesting scope mount, and not too badly Americanized. Jaeger tended to blend stiles, you got Bavarian oak leaves with diamond inlays etc. Check for the proof marks to determine the age (Jaerger's rifles usually carry the half antler followed by a date mark if he used new barrels).
As a simple Mauser without engraving it should bring between 500 - 800, depending a bit on the scope (can't tell the marker from the pictures).

yeah the scope mount is different but the only markings on the gun are his name the calibur and the number 6007

I can't identify the scope but the mount is a Pachmayr Lo-Swing.

the mount says Los Angeles Made In USA the name brand on it is worn and i cant read it and the scope Texan 2 1/2X Tyler, Texas Patented

GFN, you probably have to take the action out of the stock to find the proof marks, they are often under the barrel.

i took the gun apart to try and find any markings but there was not a whole lot i found a Z a 2 and a M and there was the number 6007 also on the wood under the barrel that matches the number on the barrel Z 2 and M the markings on the barrel were not by each other they were in different spots

A German gun without proof marks would be seriously bad. There is always the possibility that someone polished and refinished the gun, obliterating the markings, but that means all bets on value are off.
These were the markings on a recent gun on gunbroker

I think the scope is a Norman-Ford scope. There may be some info, stamped on the scope turret sides, between the turrets.

In the early 1950s, the Norman-Ford Co. of Tyler, Texas, introduced a line of high-quality hunting scopes.
All featured hard coated lens, the choice of crosswire, post, post and crosswire or Dot reticules, and had dust caps as standard.

FWIW, Norman-Ford is last listed as a suplier of scopes in the 1958 Gun Digest.

yeah the two marks that are on that gun are not on mine were it says 1055 on that one it says cal. .30-06 and were it says cal. .270 on that one it has the number 6007 so not having those marks what would be the price?

As I get older I find hitting a mini ram at 200 yards with the 22 oddly more satisfying.
