Need Help Picking my Rifle
When I graduate from college here in may, I will be looking at competing in multi-gun wherever I end up. Right now I am deadlocked in deciding between a piston AR build, or one of the DYI AK 74 kits PSA and DDI will be releasing. Neither will be particularly "fancy", mil-spec trigger, vertical grip, 2-point sling, mid range optic, etc. Basically, I can spec either one the way I like, the deadlock is the fact that nothing about either one makes it stick out as clearly better. Any statements of yay or nay will be awesome.

If it is 3-gun, an AR pistol will not likely count as a rifle, an SBR will not likley be competitive. AKs are notably not as accurate at distance. If you really shoot, you will reload unless you are really rich. .223 has IMHO, the better options for that as well.
Buy once - cry once. I have boxes of optics, holsters and parts that were replaced by what I should have gotten in the first place. |
