Paper and Steel at 100 to 400 yds (pics & YouTube link)

Distance perspective:


Close up (with steel silhouette circled):


100 yds: standing and shooting offhand (with loose sling); 10 rounds.


200 yds: sitting and using mono-pod shooting stick (for the 1st time at that distance); 10 rounds.


300 yds: sitting and using mono-pod shooting stick (for the 1st time at that distance); 10 rounds.


400 yds: sitting and using mono-pod shooting stick (for the 1st time at that distance); 10 rounds.

300 yds: standing and bracing against a pole; 10 rounds.


400 yds: shooting off of the table with my piece of wood/ammo box/airsoft BB sock gun rest; 30 rounds.

Just something so satisfying as hearing the steel ring at distance. Once, just once I hit a 700 yard gong with an iron sighted Mauser K98 from the standing position. A guy next to me said, "Do it again". Yeah RIGHT! Nice shooting sir, nice rifle, thank you for sharing.
