After the shutdown

Well, the government shutdown is mostly old news and "most" of the agencies are pretty much caught up with their backlogs. I wonder how long ATF will slow the NFA processing "due to the shutdown".
An extra 3-4 months over a 30 day furlough or maybe even more?
Will they blame it on the FBI even though the FBI wasn't "shutdown"?

I know that my stamp was still in the pipeline when the shutdown hit, but I have it now. The problem is that I have no idea where it was in the pipeline, so I can't gauge how much of an effect the shutdown had. It might have already been on the top of someone's To Do Stack when the shutdown started.

Yeah, my check was cashed about shutdown time. I suspect I'm in for an even longer wait than previously expected. I do hope it's done by November.
Disgusting, just disgusting that law abiding citizens are subjected to this sort of treatment.
