What if you're in a shopping mall and....

What if you're in a shopping mall and something happened like this past week in Oregon and you were carrying? If you had the training and of the frame of mind that you could do something to stop the threat would you? I wonder with all the people there that someone would be armed. If you knew you could save a life not just your own and you did stop the threat what do you do next? First would you call 911 tell what you did , unload your gun, open the slide put it on the ground put your hands on your head and wait for the police to show up? Hopefully you would have a witness to tell police what went down. I don't know what the law is in Oregon if you should stand your ground or only use force if you were backed in a corner and had no choice? Hope this wasn't too long or too many questions.

They should cover the questions.
