Bob, if you will e-mail me your address I have some old loading books on that caliber, they go back about 40 years. Can copy that data and send it to you.

Be VERY careful using information out of old loading books!
In many cases the powders are different enough that old loads can be dangerously hot! I found this out the hard way with my S&W I-frame. I loaded up some rounds using Unique and lead bullets, that the book (A Speer 2nd Edition) told me would give me about 800 fps. out of a 4" barrel. I was shooting over a chronograph, and after I finished the first 5 shot string (I knew they were hot!), instead of 800 fps I was getting just over 1,000 fps, or touching .32 Mag. territory! The newest Hornady manual has loads for .32 Long, I believe, as does the manual available on Winchester's Website. I suggest you check out these sources first, as well as the websites for Hornady and Alliant, BEFORE resorting to old manuals. ------------------ Beware the man with the S&W .357 Mag. Chances are he knows how to use it. |
