I like the idea of TFL members representing themselves as members of a "State" in the good old UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

In all seriousness, the whole tone of the Revolutionary War, is something that just drives the liberals insane. It's harsh and fierce, and its just gosh darn patriotic.

That's why I got a "Culpeper" flag. It adds a certain energy to an event when displayed with an American flag.

I ordered a (cheap) Virginia state flag, as well as an Army of Nothern Virginia Infantry flag (a.k.a. Confederate battle flag). If you want to drive liberals insane, that'll do it.

"I salute the flag of Virginia,
with reverence and patriotic devotion
to the ‘Mother of States and Statesmen,’
which it represents—the ‘Old Dominion,’
where liberty and independence were born."

Flags

New Jersey State Flag - as far as I know, the only ones available are made of tissue paper for use after normal eliminational hygeine. This is what most New Jerseyans use it for. Are there proper facilities to make full use of a flag if I were to get one (unused that is).
Battle Flag of the Old Dominion during the "War of Nothern Aggression" also known as Mr. Lincoln's War. Having been ejjakated in Charlottesville, I think this is an excellent flag to show our patriotism. Quantrill

As long as it is a "Battle Flag" and not the Navy Jack the rednecks always use.

Uh Oh,
We might have a North vs. South fight over flags now.

Even though the Navy Jack flag is American, Its got a thing about it, that has more to do with you know what, than what it really "was."

Geoff, how about a nice "white surrender flag" for you. You can join the Pennsylvania rifleman if you surrender your citizenship to your home country, New yawk.

I also ordered a US flag (50 stars ). Just got the tracking number; they'll be here Wednesday. I may order more after I evaluate the quality.

In visiting various flag web sites, I found it interesting that all former US flags, such as the 48-star version, are still considered valid and official flags. Also, I don't think the Betsy Ross flag (13 stars in circle) was ever official. Odd stuff.

Wasn't that the flag that Dinosaur and K80Geoff served under?

K80Geoff & others.................

Are you guys just pulling my leg or what? I brought the American flag to the last PA shoot. Did it only have 48 stars? I bought it used from a MapleShade VFW post about 4 years ago. As for a NJ Flag? I'll see what I can do.

Actually I think you had a 50 star one. I had the 48 star flag but had trouble hanging it up. I'm going to put hooks up and hang the flags from the 200yd covering next time. I had to tie everything up on the side which was kind of blaaa.

Flags, Flags, Flags.....

Alright already! Shessh.....

Here's some links to flag sites for the Confederacy, the Union and just the good ole USA:

http://home.att.net/~dcannon.tenn/fotc.html

http://www.cwc.lsu.edu/cwc/links/cwinfo3.htm

http://www.usflag.org/toc.html

Well, the second link actually covers both. So shoot me(maybe that's not the best thing to say to this crowd...)!

If anyone here is looking for USGI AR mags and wants to get in on a group buy let me know? I only want 4 or 5 but I might be able to get a good price on them if a couple of you want to get in on it?

I might make a phone call to the place that i got my AR from.

I want to see how many we want and then I'll make a couple phone calls. I get them for about $35 brand new and I think I can probable get them for $25-30 depending on how many we order. I want about 5 more.

How many do you want?
