Curt.45- yeah, part of the grips are out of my pocket, but the shirt covers them nicely. The flat 1911 doesn't print too bad. Works for me, I don't carry like this always, but when the mood strikes....LOL

I am 5'10", about 225. I carry everyday, all the time. Where and how I carry depends on what I am wearing, the particular gun and the weather. If it is warm and I am in shorts, I carry a Walther PPK in a horizontal shoulder rig over a t shirt but under a Hawaiian or short sleeved dress shirt. If it is cooler I carry said Walther either the same or in an ankle holster, (it takes a little getting used to with cowboy boots). If I am wearing a sport coat or my suit (all of my dress clothes are tailored to cover firearms) I either wear the Walther in said shoulder rig, or a Gov. Model in 38 Super in a vertical rig. I have even been know to tuck the Walther into my pocket while wearing slacks. As the old saying goes, where there is a will, there is a way.

I use a left handed Don Hume inside belt holster in the small of my back for a right handed draw which is quite quick.I have lower back problems and my Sig 220 carried this way acts as lumbar support while driving.

Well they don't come much bigger than me and still able to move. I'm 6'3" and somewhere between 475-500#. When you're this big and don't run across a car scale too often weight gets a little fuzzy. Yep I can move too. I'm a working paramedic and one of my favorite things to do is a catchers crouch while talking to patients. Plus it freaks everyone out when I'm actually able to stand back up.
Anyways I'm a left and use a tuckable IWB at 8:00 ish. It's never seen. The main things are be honest in your clothes.( the following is not directed at the OP nor anyone in particular. But we all know THAT guy) That pair of jeans from 5 years ago that you can barely get hitched are not your size. And be honest you haven't worn an xl shirt since high school. Go get some proper clothes from the big and tall store. Yes you have to actually go in there. It's not as bad as in the past they actually have some stylish stuff. I'm a big fan of the mafioso/ Charlie from 2 1/2 men SS button down.

6'2 -- 300 -- IWB at 3-3:30 as long as I can wear a loose sweater or sweatshirt (Oct.-March/April) -- sometimes a hawaiian shirt in summer if appropriate....

Otherwise, pocket.

I'm pretty sure, that if I can gain 50 more pounds, I will be able to conceal my 1911 in my butt crack

FWIW In hot weather I carry SOB, colder weather high and tight behind left hip covered by a jacket. Once in a while shoulder holster, especially if I'm fishing and might end up wading.

I carry a Beretta 9000s, .40 cal., DAO, in a smart carry holster located not in the abdomen area, but on the right hip, fully concealed inside my slacks or, on more casual dress days, inside my overalls, (this is Tennessee, after all). When wearing slacks, I wear suspenders and a loose fitting belt, so there is plenty of room to reach in and get the pistol. When wearing overalls, access is even more free. Since this would not be true whilst sitting in the truck, I also have a Sig .45 nightmare that I carry either loose in the truck or in a gun pocket in a leather bomber jacket (Burk's Bay). The jacket came with a funky little velcro strap which I replaced with a holster from my 511 vest. The Beretta, being DAO, has no protruding hammer to snag, no safety to release, just pull the pistol, acquire the target, etc. BTW, I've seen many negative comments about the 9000s, but I've had no problems, owned it for 2-3 years, fired several hundred rounds, no ftf or other such f-ups. The grip fits my hand fine, clips have pinky rest, no prob. The smart carry holster softens the lines of the pistol, so no print through except for the butt, which is hidden by the belt area. No cover jacket or loose shirt needed. Can even use this set-up with shorts. Since I'm a 5'11" 300 pounder, this is the best carry solution I've found. comfortable.

6'4" 385. Generally carry OWB right side. Sometimes covered sometimes open. Full size 1911.

Edit: Just realized this thread is two years old. Somebody revived a zombie.

6 foot 7, 365 pounds. I am left handed and carry either a cz P-07 IWB, or my sig 229 OWB, both being leather holsters made by Brian Bay at bays leather. Either way is very comfortable for me. But I think the most important thing Is the shirt, since I am tall I buy my shirts in the tall sizes wich makes them cut longer. I love the anti plumbers butt shirts from Duluth Trading, especially when carrying OWB.
