re thread a taurus 608's frame

Hi guys, A while ago I took my taurus 608 revolver apart and stored the parts with some bleach bottles by accident when I comeback the parts become super rusted. I can't put the barrel back-on anymore because of the rust in the frame's thread part So I decided to go and re-thread that part with a threat tap.

What size and type of thread tap should I use.

Taurus made a change in the frame threads during the production of the M608. The problem is, nobody knows exactly when.
You'll have to measure the barrel threads to know what you have.
