First Match Win!
They say you'll always remember your first.
 I've only shot 3 rimfire silhouette matches, and today I won 1st place in optics and 2nd place in irons! Totally new at this, but it's the most shooting fun I've ever had. (Well, except for that one time with an M2 Carbine!) I didn't shoot very well overall considering I missed way too many pig targets, the largest ones. Go figure. Also made some embarrassing rookie mistakes like starting a stage with an empty mag.  Very encouraging and can't wait to get back to the range and practice. The Model 41 is a dreamboat of a shooter.    (With a little help from Kerry, the match director, who doesn't enter his scores for prizes.)
