Where to get a Hard Crome finish on a pistol?
My brother is looking for a place to drive or send in a pistol for a shiny Hard Chome finish. He would prefer to find a place in Texas. Does anyone know a reputable shop? I have checked previous posts and found some links to a couple places, but they seem to be out of order or out of business.

In Texas, Armoloy of Fort Worth is good, but I don't think they offer a bright polish. They do theirs in the original flat gray finish.
http://www.armoloyftworth.com/Armolo...plications.htm Probably the best place is APW/Cogan. They offer hard chrome in finishes from flat gray, a stainless steel look, and a full mirror bright polish. http://www.apwcogan.com/ The following are also good. Each offer different options on the final finish look and on pricing. Do some reading. http://www.fordsguns.com/ http://www.originalmetaloy.com/ http://www.techplate.com/firearms_pl.htm http://www.elitecustomguns.com/index1.htm |

Try Armoloy, industrial hardchrome in Fort Worth. I had a Walther done by them several years ago with excellent results.
